I’m Sarah, an Irish-Australian artist and the founder of Your Urban Canvas, an Abu Dhabi-based art brand creating vibrant, contemporary cityscape artwork inspired by the places that shape us — from iconic streets and skylines to the familiar details that make acity feel like home.

My artwork brings together the landmarks, architecture and character of a city to create distinctive cityscapes in a single piece. I also create collections and series celebrating the iconic places that make each destination unique, with the option to add a personal message to selected designs.

What began as a creative passion has grown into my own small business, with my artwork now available as high-quality prints and home décor.

My background is in Art and Design, and
for over a decade I worked in marketing and communications in the property and
construction industry across Australia. Those years shaped my eye for urban
detail and gave me the opportunity to travel widely, soaking up the character
of cities around the world.

From the old-world charm of Budapest, Paris and Dublin to the buzzing streets of London, New York, Melbourne and Dubai, each place has left its mark on my work.

My art is where all these threads meet: the built environment, cultural texture and that vibrant, lived-in energy you only find in the heart of a city.

Having lived in Abu Dhabi for over five years, I continue to find inspiration in the architectural beauty and cultural richness of the UAE and the wider Middle East. At the same time, my love of cities around the world continues to influence new collections and artwork.
